Birthday

Today my Korean family took me out for my 23rd birthday. At first, I was a little confused. My birthday isn't until the end of September and I won't be turning 23. They knew this but had the celebration anyway. My new room. Money. I don't know my address here. I don't even know the names of my Korean parents. I was really drunk the other night and couldn't find my way home. I ended up going into the wrong building and tried to get into this one apartment. I think I knew it wasn't the right place but I was so drunk that I tried to get in anyways. I wanted it to be the right place so badly. Eventually I found my way home. I think I got in at around 4. Cities at night are magic. The orangeness always seems surreal. If I were a painter, my masterpiece would be of an imposing orange geometrical shape that would force you to meditate on the quality of orangeness.

Is your cake a hamburger or a mushroom?

I think it was a mushroom but it also might have been a church
